Poppyseed Dressing

Poppyseed Dressing

½ cup red wine vinegar
¾ cup canola oil
½ cup honey
1 ½ tsp. poppyseeds
4 T. sugar
1 T. fresh minced onion
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. Dijon mustard
3 pinches cayenne pepper
juice from one lemon


Pour vinegar and oil in blender.  Add other ingredients, whirl, refrigerate.  Flavor improves if dressing is made several hours ahead.
